BLESSED BY A BROKEN HEART Signs With CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS

February 17, 2007

Century Media has signed BLESSED BY A BROKEN HEART, the self-proclaimed "superheroes destined to save the world from nuclear annihilation with the power of metal."

BLESSED BY A BROKEN HEART hails from Montreal, Canada and has released one album, "All's Fair In Love And War", on Blood & Ink Records in 2004. They did a few tours of North America with THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA and A DAY TO REMEMBER and played to sold-out crowds in the U.K. with ENTER SHAKARI. Upon returning home, they found themselves with offers from record labels shooting out of their collective arses.

Comments drummer the Bird: "We have been searching for the right record label to release our next record for quite some now, and well, Century Media and us was like a match made in heaven. The force is strong with Century Media. I mean, they signed us without a singer, so they are obviously just as crazy as we are. And speaking of…we found a new singer, his name is Tony Gambino, and yeah, his Great Uncle was Carlo Gambino (Google him),so don't mess with us. Tony can do back flips and breakdance better than Turbo in 'Electric Boogaloo'. We're psyched to have him on board."

BLESSED BY A BROKEN HEART will enter the studio with GGGGarth Richardson in mid-March to record its debut album for Century Media, titled "You Wanted the Best, You Got The Blessed: Greatest Hits". The group's debut movie will be going direct to DVD in 2008.
